Guillotine Glass Enclosures for Vertical Openings

The standard guillotine system opens and closes by moving the glass panels up and down in vertical motion.

• Typically designed as a 3-wing system with insulated or single-glass options

• Can also be produced as 2-, 3-, or 4-panel configurations depending on project needs

• One sash is fixed, while the other two are movable

• Movable sashes can be stopped at any level—half-open, fully open, or anywhere in between

The Cotill Series guillotine system is engineered to be exceptionally quiet, thanks to a specially designed belt and gear system and a motor compartment housed in a dedicated aluminium box at the top of the system.

Assisted guillotine glass systems are designed as an alternative solution for high-rise buildings, restaurants, cafés, hotels, and patisseries where comfort, automation, and safety are critical.

• Each moving sash uses 8 ball bearings inside the side channels for smooth, balanced movement

Up to 20 systems can be controlled with a single remote control, and you can stop the glass at any level. When open, the 3 sashes stack in front of each other and act as a glass balustrade. When closed, they provide sound, heat, and water insulation and lock automatically—no extra lock is needed.

You can open from the top as much as you like, ventilating the area while minimizing wind discomfort for people seated or standing nearby

The cleanable version adds one key advantage: the design of the lower panel and side rails allows easy access to the outer surfaces of the glass, making routine cleaning much simpler and safer.
