How the Tilt & Retract Mechanism Works

Lamellas rotate axially and open to a minimum 100°, letting you change the roof angle based on the moment. The lamellas are also designed with an interior corrugated geometry that helps keep dust, water, and debris from spilling into the space during movement.

A corrugated interior profile helps keep dust, water, and debris on the upper surface from spilling into the space as the lamellas move.

When retracted, sections gather and slide away to increase the open area, so you can combine behaviors, like a partially retracted roof while keeping remaining lamellas angled. Motion is driven by a T-10 timing belt between the motor and mechanism for balanced, synchronized movement and stable closure without needing extra locking.
